If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with love and little treats. So it should come as no surprise that I love Valentine's culture. Not Valentine’s Day per se, but the behavior it inspires. Deranged collaging, decorating with hearts and lace, making plans to do something SWEET, buying something you normally wouldn’t in the name of JOY!! Some might say love is in the air. And by some, I mean moi.

I love the whole aesthetic of love. Cupids, cakes, bows, tulle. I appreciate a quiet, romantic detail as much as I love a garish bouquet and a gigantic stuffed animal. It’s all fun, it’s all fabulous. Valentine’s, to me, is all very Jayne Mansfield meets Repetto meets … like … Arthur. It’s very complicated but it’s also very simple. Don’t overthink it.
