Welcome back. We officially made it to Spring! I’ve been doing some personal renewing and reveling in the season by scheduling my annual appointments, sipping nettle tea, listening to Mayhem, and getting addicted to a new mobile game. It’s all about balance!

Yesterday Jack went to dinner with a co-worker, and I had a fab time at my favorite place, the Century City Mall. <3 I’ve been wanting to do this series—Mall Diaries—for a while, where I literally just talk about my trip to the mall. To me, there’s nothing better than a solo jaunt with time to indulge the primal, feminine urge to Gather, get a little treat, and try things on.

I always use this as a little ice-breaker fact whenever I have the misfortune of being thrust forward in a group setting, but if I had to teach a college-level course on something, it would literally be a course on the mall.
