few things feel as glamorous as quickly painting your nails at the kitchen table before rushing off to dinner to meet someone.
it’s impossibly chic because it’s down to earth. it’s real! you’re bound to smudge, but the fun lies in spreading your fingers wide, grabbing your keys, pretending you won’t. and it’s just how i’ve felt for the last week!
i’m trying to get into the spirit of the new year, the new energy, and get back in touch with more of what I want out of my time.
the last few weeks have been good, busy. i’ve been working, babysitting. being more diligent about my supplements. collecting supplies to tackle the grout in our shower. meeting friends and reading.
jack and I saw little women and uncut gems. both dark, harrowing tales. we watched season 2 of fleabag, streamed the farewell, and I watched one stupid episode of the witcher (stupid is my word, not jack’s).
